My all time favourite gin cocktail. This is always something I look for on cocktail menus but rarely find, so I found out how to make it myself and now I can have one whenever I want! You’ll need:
- 1 measure (25ml) of a plain gin, I usually use Gordon’s
- 1 measure of cherry brandy
- 1 measure of fresh squeezed lemon juice
- Half a measure of Grenadine
- A splash of benedictine
How to make it:
Pour all ingredients into a metal cocktail shaker and give them all a really good shake. You’ll know when they are mixed perfectly as the metal will start to feel cold to the touch. Pour the contents of your shaker into a glass filled with ice. Garnish your glass with a slice of pineapple or lemon, sit back, relax and enjoy the classic cocktail that is a Singapore Sling.
